About · Why Kaia exists

Hundreds of thousands of women.
Almost no paper.

Hong Kong runs on the work of foreign domestic helpers, and the months they are paid rarely leave a record they can keep. Kaia is that record — owned by her, free, forever.

Every product decision follows one rule: the helper is the customer, even though she never pays.

Employers pay for convenience. Nobody pays for access to her. Kaia never touches money, so we can never be a lender, and never a middleman.

A payslip is the smallest possible unit of dignity. We make sure she gets one every month, and that it is hers.
