Delete your account

Deleting is permanent. Save your record first, then delete the account in the app — or write to us if you cannot open it.

Save your record first

Deleting cannot be undone, and we cannot bring anything back. In Settings, tap Export my data, then Full archive (PDF). The file is yours: it stays on your phone after the account is gone.

Delete it in the app

Four steps. Nobody at Kaia has to do anything.

  1. Open Kaia and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Delete my account.
  3. Hold the button: Hold 3 seconds to delete.
  4. Everything is deleted straight away, and you are signed out.

If you cannot open the app

Write to privacy@kaia.help from the email address on your account, or tell us the WhatsApp number you joined with, so we know the account is yours. We delete it and write back to say it is done.

You may ask to see or correct your personal data, or to have it deleted, at any time. We reply within 40 days, as the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance requires.

This costs nothing.

What is deleted

  • Your account and your way of signing in.
  • Your record: your contract, every salary request and confirmation, advances and deductions.
  • Your private money space and your notes.
  • The photos and files you uploaded, and the receipts kept against your contract.
  • Your place on the waitlist, with the WhatsApp number and email you gave.

All of it goes straight away, not in 30 days. We do not keep a copy.

For employers: if you pay for Employer Plus, the plan is cancelled before the account is deleted, so nothing is charged again.

What stays

What you wrote in someone else’s record stays in their record, with your name taken off it. An employer who deletes his account cannot erase the months he confirmed: those months are her pay history, and they are hers.

Any PDF or spreadsheet you already saved is on your phone, not with us. It stays yours.
